Roles

The entire rights and roles concept is still under construction. At the moment it is kept extremely simple and can be greatly expanded in the future.

In Kartei, we distinguish between Pocketbase and Cardfile roles. This results in the following roles based on the interface in which a user/admin is located.

Rolle	Oberfläche	Beschreibung / Rechte
admin	Pocketbase	Admin for the Pocketbase interface. Can create all records and set mail, file storage and other settings.
admin	Kartei	Admin for card index, can create users and perform all actions. Cannot change any settings in the Pocketbase UI.
hrmanager	Kartei	No rights currently.
projectmanager	Kartei	No rights currently.
employee	Kartei	Can manage its own self-service data. Has read rights for the most part. Can book time spent.
